Graduates strives to graduate 90 percent of high school students
in the program. While most students who enter the program are
about a semester behind their classmates, the program averages
a 94 percent graduation rate; the other 6% are dropouts or are
homeless and unable to be reached for follow-up. An average of
10 percent of Virginia’s participants becomes
enrolled in a college or university.
Locations include Arlington Family Educational Center, Bryant
Alternative High School in Fairfax County, Craig County High School,
Gloucester High School, Grayson County High School, Manchester
High, Martinsville High School, Northampton High School, Patrick
County High School, Petersburg High, Rowanty Vocational-Technical
Center in Prince George County, and Smyth County Career and Technical
Center.
