Jobs for Virginia Graduates Inc., which began in 1996, is an affiliate of JAG (Jobs for America ’s Graduates) is a statewide program that helps at-risk high school students - mainly seniors - graduate and obtain a job.

Lessons taught by career specialists include on-the-job training, developing a resume, basic job competencies and table etiquette. Once students complete their studies and are placed in jobs, JVG Career Specialists will track graduates for a year to ensure they become "fully entrenched in the work force.”
