| Michael Linton, Owner, Mock Woodworking Co. LLC,
as Owner and General Manager of the 50-year-old closely held organization,
Mr. Linton oversees all aspects of this architectural millwork business
based in Zanesville, Ohio.
Mr. Linton formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of Adecco
USA, where he managed an operation with more than 6000 full time
employees, 1,400 points of sales and service in all 50 states. Adecco
USA, the largest staffing services company in the country, is part
of Adecco North America, which generated $4.5 billion in revenues
in 2001.
He was with Adecco for nine years. Prior to his appoint as CEO,
he was Chief Operating Officer of Adecco USA. He also served was
Senior Vice President of the company’s Central Division, where
he oversaw the operations of more than 300 offices across 21 states.
Mr. Linton began his career at Adecco as Executive Vice President
of the company’s Columbus, Ohio, franchise organization.
Mr. Linton was Chief Financial Officer for Sports Imports/Hydra-RIB,
a privately held importer/manufacturer of high end athletic equipment,
he provided merger and acquisition expertise.
He was Senior Manager for Arthur Andersen & Co. for 9 years
and left as a Senior Manager at the then leading global accounting/consulting
firm.
Michael has served on the Workforce Policy Board where he has leveraged
his extensive experience understanding the needs of employees and
employers to the workforce development equation. He has served on
several committees including Adult and Dislocated Workers, Employer
Advisory and Performance Management, which developed employee and
provider accountability tools.
Mr. Linton serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Jobs
for America’s Graduates at the National, State and Columbus
levels. He has served as Chairman for the Local level for the last
four years during a period of decreasing public funding.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economics from
Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
Michael and his wife, Annette, live and farm in southern Ohio with
their seven children.
