| Mr. Mark Eaton is Head of
Mergers and Acquisitions and Investor Relations for the Adecco
Group. In this capacity he is responsible for executing Adecco’s
acquisition growth strategy and for positioning Adecco appropriately
within the financial and investment community.
A naturalized citizen of the United States,
Mr. Eaton graduated from the University of Leeds in England having
earned a Batchelor of Arts degree with honors in Textile Management.
He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co and is a Chartered
Accountant. After working as an internal auditor with McDermott
International he joined the ARAMARK Corporation in London in
1980 as Group Accountant. He was subsequently appointed European
Controller and in 1985 was nominated to become the Chief Financial
Officer of ARAMARK’s Education Division in Houston, Texas.
He managed the acquisition of Children’s World Learning
Centers in 1987 and relocated the division headquarters to Denver,
Colorado.
Mr Eaton left ARAMARK in 1995 to join
Adecco as Corporate Controller and relocated to San Francisco,
California. He managed the spin-off in an IPO of Adecco’s US healthcare staffing business and
in 1996 he was responsible for the financial integration of Adia
and Ecco to form Adecco. In 1998 he was named Chief Financial
Officer of Adecco’s North American operations and managed
the acquisitions of TAD, Delphi and Olsten by the Adecco Group.
In 2000 he relocated to New York to lead the US integration of
Adecco and Olsten. He returned to Europe in 2002 to serve the
group as Corporate Controller and was appointed to his current
position in 2003.
