Mr.
Racicot is the former Governor and Attorney General of the State of
Montana.
Mr. Racicot recently joined the law firm of
Bracewell & Patterson and his legal practice focuses upon government
relations and public policy resolution.
Mr. Racicot serves as Chairman of the Board
of Directors for Jobs for America's Graduates and on the Board of
Directors for the Corporation for National Service.
Mr. Racicot began his legal career as
a prosecutor in the United State Army in West Germany, eventually
becoming the Chief Prosecutor for the largest U.S. military jurisdiction
in Europe. While serving as an Army JAG Officer, he taught business
and criminal law for the University of Maryland. After military
service, Mr. Racicot became a deputy county attorney for Missoula
County, Montana where he also founded a drug treatment program.
Prior to being elected Attorney General in 1988, Mr. Racicot was
an Assistant Attorney General and Special Prosecutor for the State
of Montana.
