| Since January 2001, Dr. Haynes
has held the position of Executive Director for Jobs of Mississippi
Graduates, Inc. Under the direction of the JMG Board of Directors,
he is responsible for the overall supervision of JMG.
Prior to his leadership with JMG, Dr. Haynes served as Associate
Superintendent, Leadership and Operations with the Mississippi Department
of Education from January 1999 - December 2000. He has been involved
in education since 1963, starting out as Science/Math Teacher and
Head Football Coach, Jackson Public Schools, Jackson, Mississippi.
The path of his career lead him to an Assistant Principal; Principal;
Deputy Superintendent for Operations/Cabinet Level for Jackson Public
Schools; Acting Department Chairman, Assistant Professor of Educational
Foundations and Leadership at Jackson State University; and Superintendent,
Greenville Public School District.
