| Julie Nixon Eisenhower is
an author, editor, and public speaker who has lectured extensively
throughout the United States. As Assistant Managing Editor of the
Saturday Evening Post, she helped establish a book division for the
parent company, The Curtis Publishing Company. She is the author of
three books, including the best-selling Pat
Nixon: The Untold Story.
Julie Eisenhower is also a lifelong volunteer.
During the Nixon Administration, her efforts on behalf of children,
the elderly and the environment led her to be voted four times by
Good Housekeeping magazine readers one of the Ten Most Admired Women
in America. Today, she is an active volunteer in her community and
serves on several national non-profit Boards, with a special interest
in helping at-risk youth. In 1991, she was named a Distinguished
Daughter of Pennsylvania for her community service by Governor Robert
Casey. She currently serves as Chairman of the President’s
Commission on White House Fellowships, a 2002 Presidential appointment.
Julie Eisenhower received a B.A. from Smith College and a M.A. from
the Catholic University of America.
