President & CEO of Jobs for Virginia Graduates, R. Barry Glenn, has over 23 years experience in education having served as teacher, director of development, school director, and Headmaster for several independent schools.

He earned his masters in education from the University of Kentucky and his undergraduate degree in English from Old Dominion University. Glenn is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Kentucky, where he has worked as a research and teaching assistant. Professional activities have included serving as president of the Palmetto Association of Independent Schools and president of the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.

He has been a workshop presenter for the National Association of Independent Schools and Southern Association of Independent Colleges and Schools.

Glenn is married and has three children.
